Sponsorships Available for Sixth Annual Concordia Golf Outing

Cabot, PA – The sixth annual Concordia Lutheran Ministries Golf Outing is scheduled for Monday, July 13 at Pittsburgh National Golf Club (formerly Deer Run Golf Club) in Gibsonia. Several sponsorship opportunities are currently available – The Signature Sponsor for this year is Smith Barney CitiGroup.

The golf outing will include an exclusive gift for all golfers, coffee and donuts, lunch, golf on a premiere par 72 championship golf course (featuring a beautiful semi-private country club setting with greens fees, cart and practice range), and a full-course buffet dinner with several entrée selections. The course is considered one of Pennsylvania’s top 30 public courses according to the Web site BestCourses.com.

All sponsorships with foursomes also include the opportunity for an ad in the event program book, listing in Concordia News & Views (Concordia’s bimonthly newsletter) and all related advertising including our Web site, a welcome banner at the course on the day of the event, and tee or green signs on the course.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Concordia’s Good Samaritan Endowment Fund, which provides Concordia with additional funds to support residents with depleted resources. This fund was established in the early 1990s and has since helped hundreds of people meet the expense of the quality health-related services at Concordia.

In skilled nursing, the Pennsylvania Medical Assistance Program pays for most, but not all, of the care of residents without funds. In Assisted Living, however, there are not government programs to make up the shortfall between residents’ resources and the cost of care.
