Concordia Independent Living Resident Turns 85

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven I resident Alberta Osborne, formerly of Butler, celebrated her 85th birthday with a family dinner at the Tavern in New Wilmington.

Born in Greenville, PA on May 26, 1924, the former Alberta Love married Rev. Cloyd M. Osborne on March 15, 1946. They have three children: Yolanda Deemer of Butler; Thomas Osborne of Lakeside, OH; and Rex Osborne of Dublin, OH. They also have six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and 11 step great grandchildren.

Osborne worked as an accountant at Magnetics in East Butler until her retirement in 1971. She is a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church in Butler, where she has held several church offices She is also a member and former president of the quilting guild “Where The Corners Meet” based in New Wilmington.
