Concordia Lutheran Ministries Names Assistant Director of Nursing

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries recently appointed a new Assistant Director of Nursing for its Cabot location on Marwood Road in Winfield Township.

RN Lisa Hissam comes to Concordia with over 23 years experience in nursing at various facilities in western PA. She has experience in medical/surgery, emergency room, family practice, skilled nursing, and long-term care. At one point during her career, Hissam worked at Concordia at Rebecca Residence as an RN Supervisor.

A graduate of Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, Hissam’s responsibilities include assisting the Director of Nursing, RN Shawnee Neff, and furthering the nursing program at the Concordia at Cabot location. She said she plans on being at Concordia for some time and she is happy to be in a place that lets her grow in the field she loves.

Hissam lives in Wexford with her husband Ron, and their six children: Brendan, 21; Rachel, 19; Krista, 13; Cory, 12; Landon, 4; and Rhianna, 3, and their black lab "Bear." She enjoys working on crafts and reading during her very little spare time and would like to possibly go back to school to earn her Masters in Nursing.
