Concordia Visiting Nurses Announces Medical Director

Cabot, PA – Concordia Visiting Nurses (CVN) CEO Martin Trettel recently announced the appointment of Butler resident Dhinesh John Samuel, M.D. as Medical Director for CVN and Good Samaritan Hospice.

Dr. Samuel has served Concordia Lutheran Ministries as part of Nallathambi Medical Associates since 2003. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of various medical associations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, C.F. Reynolds History in Medicine Society, and the Christian Medical and Dental Society.

"Not only is Dr. Samuel an incredible doctor, he takes the time to really get to know his patients," Trettel said. "This personal touch is what sets Concordia Visiting Nurses and Good Samaritan Hospice apart."

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, he completed his residency in internal medicine/pediatrics at Shadyside and Children’s Hospitals. He earned his B.S. in Chemistry and Physics at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA.

Dr. Samuel lives with his wife Yogi, a dietician, in their Butler home. In his free time he enjoys basketball, chess, art, and music.
