Concordia Visiting Nurses Now Serving South Hills Region

Mt. Lebanon , PA – Concordia Visiting Nurses (CVN) recently opened a new office at Concordia’s latest location, Concordia of the South Hills - meaning residents of the southern Pittsburgh region now have access to Concordia’s specialized home health services.

The Professional Services division is a Medicare certified, state licensed, Medicaid approved home care agency. CVN also participates in most private insurance plans.

Professional Services include treatments for many types of conditions, including: arthritis, bone fractures, cancer, diabetes, heart and lung disease, stroke, and more.

Private duty services are typically an out-of-pocket expense. Occasionally, individuals may qualify financially and clinically for financial assistance through the local Area Agency on Aging, the VA, and several other governmental agencies. In addition, some Long Term Care insurance will also cover some in-home care.

Private duty services include: assistance with ambulation (walking) and transfers, card writing, feeding and meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, shopping and errands, etc.
