Concordia Visiting Nurses Hires Director of Marketing
Cabot, PA – Concordia Visiting Nurses President Martin Trettel recently announced the addition of Butler resident Dino Capestrani as Director of Marketing to the CVN team.
Capestrani, who has been in marketing and advertising for over 25 years, will be responsible for generating referrals from physicians, healthcare facilities, and partnering agencies, promoting the CVN image and brand, developing and strengthening existing relationships with various publics, and managing the marketing department among other things.
“I have a passion for this outreach ministry,” Capestrani said. “Bricks and mortar do not bind Concordia Visiting Nurses, and our market is unlimited. We have a great staff of caretakers who deliver our superior, faith-based approach to healthcare for others right in their home. I love the strategic marketing challenge of growing home care, durable medical equipment, and hospice to our current and potential referrals sources.”
A former President of Concordia’s Board of Directors, Capestrani has been involved with the organization for over 20 years, from personal volunteering, support of several residents, and the Legacy Society. He said he has had an interest in art, graphic design, marketing, and advertising since the 9th grade.
“Around that time I visited a local advertising agency in my hometown, asking to do free work since art and design were passions of mine,” he said. “The owner obviously couldn’t hire me due to my age, but he took the time to tour me through the agency, explain the industry, and encourage me through high school to get into the field.”
Capestrani has a significant amount of education, including a Specialized Technology degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and coursework in leadership, marketing management, strategic planning, and finance from the University of Pittsburgh and Covey Management and Leadership Studies.
In his spare time, Capestrani enjoys martial arts (he is currently a first-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate) and music, as he plays percussion for a variety of bands and services. He lives with his wife of 27 years, Lynn, and has two daughters, Katy and Kelly. He is a member at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot and has served on the Board of Directors for the Eastern District Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
