Concordia Visiting Nurses Makes Several Internal Promotions
Cabot, PA – Concordia Visiting Nurses recently promoted three women from within the organization at the Cabot office in Concordia Lutheran Ministries’ Oertel Care Center.
Mary Gaydos, a registered nurse and resident of Beaver County, was promoted from Branch Manager to Clinical Director. Her new responsibilities include directing all clinical departments at both the Baden and Cabot offices. Gaydos received her Master’s of Science degree in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis in 2001 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Slippery Rock University in 1992.
Registered nurse Karen McCreary, a resident of Butler County, was promoted from Case Manager to Branch Manager. Her new responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations and staff at the home care office in Cabot. McCreary received her LPN from Butler County Community College and her RN from Citizen General Hospital. She has been in nursing since 1984.
Laura Russo, a resident of Butler County, was promoted from Client Service Representative to Executive Assistant. Some of her new responsibilities include coordinating appointments, writing and editing correspondences, maintaining records, and recording board meetings. Russo is a 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health with a minor in Gerontology.
CVN President and C.E.O. Martin Trettel said he is very pleased that he was able to fill these three positions from within the organization.
"We are very happy that we already had these three individuals on board," Trettel said. "I am confident that they will exceed our high expectations at CVN."
