Concordia at Rebecca Residence Resident Turns 100

Cabot, PA – Concordia at Rebecca Residence Assisted Living resident Catherine Patton, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, celebrated her 100th birthday recently with a party at the facility.

Patton was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Aug. 23, 1909. She has been a resident at Concordia for over eight years, while remaining close to her three brothers and 13 nephews who live all over the country.

A graduate of Duquesne University, Patton worked in Harrisburg as a nurse consultant for disabled children for the PA Health Dept. She said she loved her job and had a wonderful career. She retired at age 65.

A member at St. Victor’s Roman Catholic Church, Patton was actively involved with the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing Alumni. She enjoys doing crossword puzzles and loves cats.
