Charitable Giving Ways to Give

Simply Giving is a program provided to Lutheran organizations by Thrivent Financial. Through Simply Giving, your gifts are made through a pre-authorized withdrawal from your bank account or credit card. You determine the frequency of your automatic gift – weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly. Your gift is deposited into Concordia’s bank account the same day it is withdrawn from your account, at no cost to you or Concordia. Your gifts may be designated to a specific fund/area or to the annual fund, which benefits the area of greatest need.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations and businesses will match charitable gifts made by current employees and retirees to non-profit organizations such as Concordia. Please contact your Human Resource Department for details and guidelines.

Giving Plus® Program
Thrivent Financial offers a benefit that enhances the charitable giving of its members. Through the GivingPlus® Program, a member's gift will be supplemented by Thrivent Financial. Thrivent Financial members can download, print and complete the Thrivent GivingPlus Form by clicking here. Include the completed form with your donation to Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Appreciated Property and Securities

Gifts of appreciated property or securities can support Concordia and might ease your capital gains tax burden. Please contact the Director of Development at Concordia before making a gift of stock. When you notify Concordia, we can ensure that you receive proper acknowledgement and that your gift is directed to the program or fund you choose to support. United Way

You can support the mission and ministry of Concordia by directing your United Way campaign contribution to Concordia. Concordia, as a 501(c)(3) is eligible as a donor designated organization. For most United Way agencies, to designate the funds to Concordia, simply write on your campaign form:
