Concordia Employee Recognized With Award From Newspaper
Cabot, PA – At Concordia Lutheran Ministries we pride ourselves on the high caliber of employees we have at every level. While it is admittedly difficult to acknowledge every single exceptional employee, we do our best.
Recently, however, one of our own was recognized outside of the Concordia community.
Eric Sepich, an 18-year-old dietary aide at Concordia at the Orchard, was chosen by the Valley News Dispatch as one of several Outstanding Young Citizens in the region. Sepich is a senior at Knoch High School with a QPA of 4.12.
Among his many extra curricular activities, Sepich is president of the chemistry club, vice president of the French club, a member of the National Honors Society, and an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, he is active in his high school musical “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers,” is a member of the Knoch High School choir, and leads a Bible Study at his church.
Last Christmas, he and a fellow classmate recorded and released a CD together to raise money for children in Africa. The pair eventually raised over $300. This mindset of putting others before himself is one of the main reasons why Orchard Facility Director Robin Hipple nominated him, she said.
