Concordia Hires Director of Nursing at Cabot Campus

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries Vice President of Skilled Nursing and Short-Term Rehab Charlene Kline recently announced the appointment of a new director of nursing for the Concordia at Cabot campus.

RN Mary Senge started in her position as director of nursing at Concordia after beginning her career with the organization almost 15 years ago as a CNA. In the meantime, she has worked as a staff and charge nurse, as well as in a case management/supervisory role at other organizations. Her responsibilities include managing the nursing department, auditing/improving policies, monitoring daily operations, and supporting the employees, among other things.

A graduate of Community College of Allegheny County, Senge said she was prompted to return to Concordia based on the organization’s family atmosphere, stability, and employee incentives.

“I’m excited to be a part of a great organization again, serving both short-term and long-term patients,” she said. “Concordia truly rewards its employees and makes them feel appreciated.”

A member at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Senge lives in Butler with her husband Eric and three dogs Sierra, Dakota, and Max. She enjoys the outdoors, vacationing in the Outer Banks, and animals – she is a member at the Butler County Humane Society American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). She also loves spending time with her family, which includes six siblings, 17 nieces and nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews.
