Concordia Hires Staff Accountant at Cabot Campus

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries Chief Financial Officer Paul Brand recently announced the appointment of Vandergrift resident Adam Toncini in the position of Staff Accountant.

Toncini, a recent graduate of Slippery Rock University, will be responsible for coordinating payroll, ledger entries, and financial reports, among other duties. He said the challenges and atmosphere at Concordia drew him to the organization.

“I’m constantly trying to gain knowledge in accounting, and Concordia offers me that opportunity in a pleasant environment,” he said. “The people I work with are also very nice, which makes coming to work everyday enjoyable.”

Toncini said his motivation for beginning a career in accounting stems back to his grandfather, who worked as an accountant for many years. He is currently remodeling an apartment in Vandergrift and living with his grandmother Jerri Toncini, since his grandfather passed away unexpectedly.

In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing, working outdoors, fixing up cars, and woodworking. Toncini, a dog-lover, has a schnauzer ‘Harley,’ three beagles ‘Kadie,’ ‘Breeze,’ and ‘Gale’, a lab mix ‘Griffon,’ and a keeshond ‘Coda.’
