Concordia Partners with Alle-Kiski Medical Center Physician

Cabot, PA – In an effort to better serve its residents and community, Concordia Lutheran Ministries recently appointed Alle-Kiski Medical Center (AKMC) Director of Rehabilitation Services Elaine B. Scott, M.D. as a rehabilitation consultant at the Lund Care Center.

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1980, Dr. Scott completed specialty training in Family Practice at Washington Hospital and served as faculty officer at the University of Pittsburgh and Shadyside Hospital.  She obtained further training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Francis Medical Center and joined the medical staff of Allegheny Valley Hospital/AKMC in 1993.

She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Family Practice, with added qualifications in Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Scott has been published in the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and American Family Physician.

She currently lives in Sarver with her husband Dr. Gregory C. Mieckowski, a radiologist at AKMC. She also has two sons.
