Concordia at Rebecca Residence Woman Turns 100

Cabot, PA – Concordia at Rebecca Residence resident Elizabeth “Betty” Lindau recently celebrated her milestone 100th birthday with an afternoon celebration at Rebecca.

The former Elizabeth Diorio was born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 12, 1907. While married to her husband Robert “Bob” Lindau, she worked as a baker at several bakeries in the greater Pittsburgh area, the last being the National Biscuit Company.

Lindau, a former Glenshaw resident, has lived at Concordia at Rebecca Residence since Oct. 1999. She is Catholic but not a member of a specific church. Her hobbies include morning exercise, bingo, and attending the various social events held at Rebecca.
