Concordia to Screen HBO's "The Alzheimer's Project" in August

Cabot, PA – To raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease, Concordia Lutheran Ministries will host screenings of the four-part HBO documentary series “The Alzheimer’s Project” each Monday in August beginning Aug. 10, at 6:00 p.m. in the Concordia Haven I Apartment Building dining room.

The topics for the critically acclaimed series are: 1) “The memory loss tapes” 2) “Grandpa, do you know I am?” 3) “Momentum in science” and 4) “Caregivers.” The screenings are free and open to the community; refreshments will be provided.

The series paints a striking, emotional picture of the disease, and is recommended more for those with little knowledge of or experience with Alzheimer’s. Viewer discretion is advised.
