Concordia to Host Alzheimer's Support Group Meeting

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries’ Adult Day Services (ADS) will host an Alzheimer’s/Dementia Caregiver Support Group meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the ADS program area on the ground floor of the Lund Care Center.

For the December meeting, the group will watch and discuss “Be With Me,” a DVD-based lecture featuring psychologist and professor Richard Taylor, who was diagnosed with dementia when he was 58 years old. Now at age 66, he discusses what it’s like to have the disease, how he is treated, and how he wants to be treated.

The meetings are free and open to all caregivers of individuals living with Alzheimer’s or dementia and adult care is available. The support group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Lund Care Center – 134 Marwood Road, Jefferson Twp.
