Concordia Hires Director of Development at Cabot Campus

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries President & CEO Keith Frndak recently announced the addition of a new director of development position at the Concordia at Cabot campus on Marwood Rd.

Butler resident Jennifer McIntire, who has worked in development for over seven years, will coordinate the fundraising efforts throughout the Concordia system and foster relationships with current and potential donors for the good of Concordia’s mission. She comes to Concordia from a development position with Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

For McIntire, coming to Concordia was a simple decision based on the organization’s faith-based reputation.

“Concordia’s Christ-centered mission, respect, and dedication to patient-centered care affirmed with me that Concordia was a place I would be proud to serve as a development professional,” she said.

A 1994 graduate of Robert Morris University, McIntire began her development career at Lutherlyn, a faith-based organization based out of Prospect, PA. She said she believes that when one is involved with a Christ-centered organization, they serve a specific purpose in providing the opportunities and services that are promised through the mission and vision.

“Helping, comforting, caring and providing for the needs of God’s people is both a personal and spiritual commitment made by each of us that are involved and the collaborative effort from us all is what produces a service of unmatchable quality, commitment, and strength for those we serve,” she said.

A member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler, McIntire lives in Center Twp. with her husband Russ and her children Shane and Maren. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation at the Butler Area School District and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Pittsburgh Chapter.
