Concordia Promotes Staff Member to Human Resource Manager

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries recently announced the promotion of Butler resident Lori Emert as Human Resource Manager for its Concordia at Rebecca Residence facility in Allison Park.

Formerly serving as Medical Secretary for the Concordia at Cabot campus, Emert’s new position includes all aspects of hiring, filling vacant positions, and managing employee benefit programs. She is also responsible for planning, directing, and implementing activities and education relating to employment, compensation, labor, and employee relations. She has been with Concordia since December of 1999.

“I’m really looking forward to promoting a positive attitude towards others and furthering the organizational objectives of Concordia,” she said.

Emert received her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Geneva College in 2007 and an Associates of Science in Business Administration from Butler County Community College in 2004. She lives in Jefferson Township with her husband Ronald, son Austin, and Jack Russell Terrier Tico.

She is a member at Allegheny Center Alliance Church in Pittsburgh. Her interests include bicycle riding, dancing, and swimming with her family.
