Good Samaritan Hospice to Raise Funds with Annual 5K Run/Walk

Cabot, PA – Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will host its 6th Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 7 at the North Park Boat House.

Registration is set for 8:00 a.m. with the race beginning at 9:00 a.m. Registration fees are $15 if postmarked by September 15 or $18 thereafter. Participants registered by September 22 are guaranteed a race shirt and goodie bag, all others while supplies last.

The Run/Walk will also feature a “Wellness Village” sponsored by Healthyworks of Pennsylvania, a post-race party including food provided by Atria’s Restaurant & Tavern, participant placement awards, and door prizes. WISH 99.7’s Street Patrol will provide entertainment throughout the day.

This year’s event is co-sponsored by Med-Fast Pharmacy, Nextier Bank, Pro-Serv Medical, Inc., Print Tech of Western PA., Rainy Day Play Center & Kid Sitter, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Road ID, Bulldog Office Products and Cohen & Grigsby. All proceeds benefit Good Samaritan’s special program of care to community residents facing a life-limiting illness. Good Samaritan Hospice currently serves Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Beaver, and northern Westmoreland counties.
