Good Samaritan Hospice to Host Annual 5K Run/Walk

Cabot, PA – Good Samaritan Hospice (GSH), a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will host its seventh annual 5K run/walk on Sept. 28 in North Park, with all proceeds benefiting GSH’s special program of care to community residents facing a life-limiting illness.

The event will feature a “Wellness Village” sponsored by Healthyworks of Pennsylvania, post race party, participant placement awards, door prizes, and entertainment throughout the day. There will also be a 7:30 a.m. prayer service. Last year, over 140 runners/walkers participated in the event.

Registration is set for 8:00 a.m. with the race beginning at 9:00 a.m. Registration fees are $18, and participants registered by September 15 are guaranteed a race shirt and goodie bag while supplies last. Sponsors for the event include Medfast Pharmacy, Pro-Serv Medical and Eagle Printery.
