Good Samaritan Hospice to Host Memorial Service in Wexford

Cabot, PA – Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will host a memorial service in memory of those who spent their final days at either its Wexford or Cabot inpatient hospice facilities, or with Good Samaritan Hospice home care.

The service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on April 13 at Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church, 201 Church Road, Wexford, PA. Friends and family members will have the opportunity to gather, speak the name of their loved one, and light a candle in their memory, if they wish.

Concordia Chaplain Rev. Paul Rist will conduct the service. Several GSH staff members and their families will sing musical selections, accompanied by a cellist and flutist.

The memorial service will be a time to pray and give thanks – to celebrate the lives of those no longer with us, look to God and within, and begin the healing process. It will also be a time to understand that the journey through grief is different for every person.
