Concordia's First Haven Health & Wellness Fair a Success

Cabot, PA – More than 150 Concordia Haven residents and community members participated in the first Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, April 4 in the Haven III Ground Floor common area.

Retirement Living Program Director Cathy Questiaux, who coordinated the event based on the success of an employee health fair earlier this year, said she was very pleased with the response overall. 

Throughout the afternoon, participants discussed health concerns, received free health screenings, learned various wellness suggestions, and indulged in complimentary health snacks.

Thanks especially to the following organizations who helped make this event success: Allegheny Valley YMCA/Silver Sneakers, Butler Memorial Hospital, Corbin Peterson Family Eyecare, Diane’s Health Shoppe, Kim Fitzgerald DMD., Dr. Jesse Mytinger, Sears Hearing Aid Centers, US Food, and Dr. Michael Casey.

Staff members from Concordia’s Outpatient Therapy, Visiting Nurses, Good Samaritan Hospice and TeleCareGivers were also in attendance.
