Concordia Hires Kaufman for New Position
Cabot, PA – Michael Kaufman of Butler County has been named to the newly created position of Rehab/Skilled Nursing Marketing Liaison for Concordia Lutheran Ministries according to Charlene Kline, Vice President, Skilled Nursing. A 1990 graduate of Slippery Rock University, Kaufman brings a breadth of knowledge and several years of experience
Kaufman possesses a strong background in healthcare and marketing having worked for HealthSouth Harmarville Rehabilitation Hospital since 1998 as their Senior Clinical Liaison. His role at HealthSouth dealt largely with supervising and mentoring other liaisons, building and maintaining relationships with various departments, and completing medical evaluations, all of which will aid him in his new role at Concordia. He also worked for eight years as a recreational therapist at HealthSouth prior to his liaison position.
Kaufman will establish a presence and build relationships with local hospitals and doctor’s offices as well as market and promote various service lines at Concordia, such as the skilled facilities and outpatient therapy.
Kaufman resides in Connoquenessing with his wife, Jayni and seven-year-old daughter, Abbigail. He is the president, ?re captain, and EMT of the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company, emergency management co-coordinator of Connoquenessing Township, and he is also a catechist and teacher at St. Fidelis Church.
Kline calls him, “a self-starter and a motivated employee and is pleased to have him join the Concordia workforce.”
