Concordia Independent Living Resident Celebrates 85th Birthday

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven II resident Marie P. Cross, formerly of Gibsonia, recently celebrated her 85th birthday.

The former Marie Phillips was born in Columbus, OH on June 3, 1922. She married J. H. Cross Jr. on Sept. 26, 1946 in Portsmouth, OH, and has a stepdaughter, Mary Jane Cross of Scottsdale, AZ. 

Before her retirement in 1988, Cross worked as an administrative assistant at Cross Electronics Inc. She has been a resident at Concordia since 2005 and is a member of Nativity Lutheran Church of Allison Park, PA. 

Her interests include music and books on history and nature.
