Concordia Lutheran Ministries Woman Celebrates 90 Years

Cabot, PA – Concordia Haven resident Mary Loucks surely looked fantastic for her 90th birthday on Dec. 25 – she retired from being a hairdresser just three years ago.

The former Mary Flory was born on Christmas Day in 1917 in the city of York, PA. She married her husband Harry Loucks on Sept. 1, 1940 in Cumberland, MD and has two children: Sandra Garfunkel of Canterbury, NH and Susan Farrell of Renfrew, PA. She also has four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Self-employed for most of her life, Loucks came to Concordia three years ago after retiring in York. She is involved in the Lutheran Church and enjoys reading in her spare time.
