Concordia Independent Living Resident Celebrates 85th Birthday

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven I resident Henrietta Maurhoff (Auel), formerly of Gibsonia, celebrated her 85th birthday recently.

Maurhoff was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 30, 1922. She married Elmer J. Maurhoff on Dec. 4, 1942 and has two children, Norma DiMartino of West Melbourne, FL and William Maurhoff of Valencia, PA. She also has six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Maurhoff has been a resident at Concordia since 1990. She is a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot, PA, served on Concordia’s Board of Directors for over 25 years, and was formerly the Eastern District President for the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She worked as a homemaker her entire life.

Her hobbies include reading, walking, and crafts.
