Concordia Haven Apartments Hosting Nutrition Classes
Cabot, PA – Concordia Haven Apartments is hosting its monthly nutrition class on May 18 at 2 p.m. in Haven I. The May session topic is arthritis and will be led by class instructor Ruth Douthett, Concordia dietetic technician, registered.
The classes are held on the third Tuesday of every month (until November) at one of the Haven Apartment buildings and include a wide array of nutritional topics. The cost is $10 per class for those in the community. Haven residents can attend at no cost. The class is held in conjunction with Concordia’s “senior college,” Concordia Institute for Lifelong Learning.
Heart-healthy refreshments will be available and the sessions are about an hour and a half in length, with time for questions and answers afterwards.
