Concordia Independent Living Resident Celebrates 85th Birthday

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven II resident Agnes McKrisky, formerly of Lower Burrell, will celebrate her 85th birthday with a luncheon at Concordia’s Haven II dining room with friends and family on March 21.

The former Agnes Tenerowicz was born in Crabtree, PA on March 21, 1922. She married Steve McKrisky on April 29, 1942 and has three children, Carol Anne Olshefski of Knoxville, MD; Nancy Zabrowski of Pittsburgh; and Paula Radecki of Potomac, MD. She also has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

McKrisky has been a resident at Concordia’s Haven II since March 2005. She retired in 1980 as a department head for the retail store Gee Bees and is currently a member at St. James Catholic Church in Apollo and the Rosary Confraternity. She enjoys dancing, playing cards, and volunteering in Concordia’s Lund Care Center in her spare time.
