Good Samaritan Hospice Names New Director of Clinical Operations

Cabot, PA – Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, recently appointed a new Director of Clinical Operations at its Wexford office.

R.N. Michelle Hartman, a 30-year veteran in clinical nursing, will be responsible for managing the care of home hospice clients as well as inpatient clients at the Good Samaritan House, Wexford, and the hospice unit at the Concordia at Cabot location in the Lund Care Center. She received her R.N. diploma from Lutheran Medical Center School of Nursing, with additional nursing education at St. Louis, Vanderbilt, and San Diego State Universities.

Additionally, Hartman was a runner up for Pennsylvania Home Care Nurse of the Year in 2001.  She lives in Butler with her husband Rev. Jack Hartman, senior chaplain for Concordia.
