Concordia Independent Living Resident Turns 90

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven II resident Clara M. Nason recently celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner at the J Barn Country Inn on April 12.

The former Clara Fierst was born April 13, 1918 in Pittsburgh. She married her husband George Nason on September 11, 1940 at St. Theresa of Avilla Church in West View. Nason has three children: James Nason of Oak Park, CA; Carol Ehalt of Georgetown, SC; and Joanne Sudetic of Cheswick; as well as eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Nason has been at Concordia for nearly six years, since moving from her home in Pittsburgh’s North Hills. She was a housewife most of her life and attends St. Josephs Church in Cabot. She enjoys sewing, crossword puzzles, and playing bridge in her spare time.
