Concordia Lutheran Ministries to Host Annual Oktoberfest

Cabot, PA – While a 126th anniversary may not have the same ring to it as a 125th, Concordia Lutheran Ministries still plan on bringing the “booms” at its upcoming Oktoberfest.

The celebration, being held on October 6, will take place behind the Lund Care Center on Marwood Road from 3 p.m. until dusk. And once again, Zambelli Internationale will deliver a fantastic fireworks display to close the evening. One highlight of this year’s event will be bus tours of Concordia’s latest acquisition Saxony Farms Estate.

Entertainment for the affair will include the North Star Kids, The Lou Paisani Orchestra, and strolling accordionist Al Marsico. For the children, there will be a caricature artist, a petting zoo, pony rides, games, and hayrides.

In addition to the entertainment and tours, the Concordia food service staff will prepare a German-themed menu for everyone’s enjoyment. Concordia employee Carol Schuler will also be having a pig roast to raise money for the Concordia capital campaign.
