Providence Pharmacy Hires New Pharmacist

Cabot – Providence Pharmacy recently hired a new staff pharmacist at their Cabot location in the Lund Care Center of Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Todd Douglas McCurdy has been in the Pharmaceutical industry since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 1998. His credentials include being a staff pharmacist, assistant pharmacy manager, and pharmacy manager at several western PA pharmacies. McCurdy’s primary responsibilities will be in Providence’s dispensing department overseeing the day-to-day operations.

“My goals include improving the already high level of patient care for our customers and nurses, helping to provide a smooth transition to Providence’s new location (Providence will soon be moving to Concordia’s Oertel Care Center), and to provide a cost efficient inventory that meets the needs of our patients,” McCurdy said.

McCurdy currently lives in Cabot with his wife, Hilary, and their 2-year-old son, Jacob. His interests include fishing, camping, and ice hockey. He said he is looking forward to the challenge of optimizing Providence’s pharmacy performance.
