Concordia Lutheran Ministries Names Staff Development Coordinator

Cabot, PA – Concordia Visiting Nurses, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, appointed 2005 Penn State University graduate Chris Cassioli as Staff Development Coordinator.

As Staff Development Coordinator, a few of her main responsibilities include orienting new staff members, completing yearly competencies for clinical staff, and managing the telehealth department. Cassioli brings with her more than 10 years of experience in homecare and 18 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.  Her most recent position was at Butler Memorial Hospital, where she worked for 18 years. She has also worked as an Emergency Room nurse for a number of years. She has her Infusion Nurse Certification and is a certified Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) Specialist.

Cassioli said her favorite aspect of her new position at Concordia is educating nurses in homecare. She is married to husband Terry and has two children, Lauren, 17, and Tom, 16, all of whom reside in Butler. Her main interests are reading and caring for her newly adopted Greyhound dog named Lizzie.
