Concordia Promotes Staff Member to Building Coordinator

Cabot, PA – Concordia Lutheran Ministries Vice President of Independent Living Larry Talmadge recently announced the promotion of Kittanning resident Janet Bennett to Haven II Building Coordinator.

Bennett has worked for Concordia as an Administrative Receptionist since 2002 until taking her new position. She is responsible for assisting the 114 Haven II residents with daily issues, entering deposits and charges, preparing monthly billing statements, keeping records on all residents, and making sure each resident is safe and healthy.

“In my new position I get more one on one time with the residents, which is something I enjoy,” Bennett said. “I also like being able to work a little more independently.”

Bennett said she came to Concordia in part because of the organization’s faith-based mission and principles. She has always enjoyed working in an office setting, as she is a very organized person.

A member of the PA Association of Notaries and Kittanning Free Methodist Church, she lives with her husband Bob and five year old Yellow Lab “Buster.” She has two children and four grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys crafting, arranging flowers, and reading.
