Concordia Therapy Adds a Physical Therapist

Cabot, PA – Nicholas Reiser, DPT, Director of Concordia Therapy, a division of Concordia Lutheran Ministries appointed Heather L. Miller, M.P.T.

Heather is the Former Director of Rehabilitation at The Cedars Community Care Network in Monroeville.  She oversaw all inpatient/outpatient and home health therapists. Heather is also a certified American Physical Therapy Association clinical instructor and has acted as a clinical coordinator for various local academic institutions.

She earned her bachelors degree in Movement Science with a concentration in athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters of Physical Therapy from Chatham College.

A current resident of Gibsonia, she began her career as an athletic trainer for North Hills High School and the Human Motion Center after she graduated from Pitt.  She joined The Chesapeake Center in Springfield, Virginia and worked for The Children’s Institute in Wexford once she attained her PT degree.

Heather has a strong background in promoting effective work relationships with local physicians as well as delivery of facility-wide education and training programs.  She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers Association.

Heather and her husband have one son.  They keep busy with their new home and since both are Pitt alumnae they love to attend Panther football games.
