Three Local Students Receive Scholarships
Cabot, PA – Three local students who work part-time in food service at Concordia Haven Apartments are recipients of Concordia’s Scholarship Fund. Megan Hook, a third
year student at Slippery Rock is pursuing a degree in psychology and has worked at Concordia for three years. A resident of Saxonburg, she is a 2002 graduate of Knoch High School.
Amber Demek, a resident of Cabot and a nursing student at Butler County Community College is also a Knoch High School graduate Class of 2004.
Also a student at BC3, Rachael Frye is a graphics art major and a 2003 graduate of Freeport High School. She is resident of Sarver.
The scholarships are funded annually by a Concordia Haven Apartment resident who considers this a venue for illustrating staff appreciation for services rendered.
Criteria for the scholarship is based on years of service at Concordia, quality of work and current enrollment in an undergraduate institution.
