Concordia at Rebecca Residence Resident Turns 100

Cabot, PA – Concordia at Rebecca Residence resident Antoinette “Toni” Vaine recently celebrated her 100th birthday with a party with family and friends.

The former Antoinette Robitaille was born in Manchester, NH on June 28, 1908. She married her husband Theodore Vaine in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Manchester in August of 1943. She has two children: Marguerite Camirand of Gibsonia and Francois Vaine of Georgia. She also has five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Until becoming a housewife after her marriage, Vaine worked in the office at J.F. McElwain, a shoe factory in Nashua, N.H. She has been at Concordia at Rebecca Residence since February 2007.

Vaine, a member at St. Victor’s Catholic Church, enjoys watching Jeopardy, playing bingo, and playing bridge. She used to sing in the Manchester Opera and at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
