At Concordia, our outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation programs are designed to treat a wide range of medical and post surgical conditions by offering patients comprehensive services in all three major disciplines:  physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech/language pathology.

Concordia Outpatient Therapy (exclusively at the Concordia at Cabot location) was developed to help patients find relief from pain and regain their strength, independence and mobility. Outpatient services include individualized therapy sessions, an aquatic therapy pool, treadmills, traction units to treat patients with low back and neck pain, and multiple cardio stations for upper and lower body exercise. While we have the latest innovative equipment, the foundation of our therapy sessions is one-on-one, hands-on therapy treatment.

Our rehabilitation center features a state-of-the-art, aquatic therapy pool with an adjustable floor and variable water depth, enabling users to easily enter and exit the pool. Aquatic therapy is particularly effective in treating patients after surgery, those with sports related injuries, and those with arthritis and chronic pain.

Our outpatient therapy staff is flexible to accommodate your scheduling needs, offering day, evening, and weekend hours. We treat a broad range of conditions caused by:

• Strokes
• Sports-related injuries
• Work-related injuries
• Arthritis
• Fractures
• Muscle strains/sprains
• Back injuries
• Wound care
• Urinary incontinence
• Many other debilitating and painful conditions

Patients can be referred to Concordia Outpatient Therapy through a physician or a self-referral for an initial evaluation. We participate in many government and private insurance plans, including Medicare/Medicaid, Aetna/US Healthcare, all Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, and Health America/Health Assurance/Advantra. The list of participating plans continues to expand, so call to see if your plan is eligible.
