Concordia’s physicians are on staff at either Alle-Kiski Medical Center or Butler Memorial Hospital. Our medical director is board-certified in Gerontology and is an active member of our Quality Assurance Committee.

To enhance recovery, Concordia’s staff provides delicious and nutritional meals, and therapeutic and recreational activities. Cable TV service is also provided in every room.

We encourage our skilled nursing residents to participate in their daily care and to be proactive in their recovery. Our in-house social services staff is available to meet with patients and their family in order to stay informed of their progress.

At Concordia, we have a dedicated short-term rehabilitation unit designed to motivate, support, and increase overall functioning to each patient. Our objective is to meet the needs of those individuals with the goal of returning home to a more active lifestyle.

Our newly expanded rehabilitation center features a state-of-the-art, aquatic therapy pool with an adjustable floor and variable water depth, enabling users to easily enter and exit the pool. Aquatic therapy is particularly effective in treating patients after surgery, those with sports related injuries, and those with arthritis and chronic pain.

For short-term needs, Concordia participates with Medicare, UPMC for Life, Security Blue, US Healthcare, and Health America.
