The health and well-being of our patients, residents and team members is our number one priority. Despite many of the counties in which we operate beginning to re-open, per the Departments of Health, Concordia is still operating under a no visitation policy, except for patients/residents in end-of-life situations. However, those wishing to see their loved ones can schedule time with them at one of our safe visitation areas. Please call your loved one's facility for more information. 14th Golf Classic Brings Fun and Funds for Charitable Care | PHOTOS

A record number of guests came together at Treesdale Golf & Country Club on Monday, July 10 to celebrate Concordia’s mission of charitable care at the 14th CLM Golf Classic. Despite dodging occasional raindrops and a thunderous storm just as play was ending, golfers enjoyed a fabulous course, amazing hospitality and meaningful fellowship. (Read more for photos)

Most importantly, while actual net proceeds are still being tabulated, there is little doubt that we exceeded our “after expenses” fundraising goal of $100,000 for the Good Samaritan Endowment Fund! One of the most compelling and historic pieces of Concordia’s mission, the Good Samaritan Endowment Fund underwrites confidential charitable care for residents and patients who have limited or exhausted financial means. The Fund is a vital element of Concordia’s heritage of Christian service toward others – and we give glory to God for the participation and support of so many on Monday!

SEI Investments once again served as Signature Sponsor for the event, and Mike Kelly from SEI was on hand Monday as a guest of honor. Winning honors went to the team captained by Rev. Brennan Gaertner, after turning in an impressive 18-under-par, besting the second place team by three strokes. All in all, 212 golfers participated and between them, ate more than 600 hotdogs and hamburgers for lunch!

Special thanks are due to all members of the Concordia Golf Committee whose tireless efforts helped attract our largest group of sponsors, including 26 new or upgraded sponsors this year. The Committee has worked since January and the impact on the Good Samaritan Endowment Fund was well received!
