“At New York Life, we are proud to continue partnering with Concordia and the Moyer Foundation to help make Camp Erin Pittsburgh possible year-after-year," said Frank Amato, event chairman, New York Life agent and annual volunteer at Camp Erin Pittsburgh. "These kids need to know that they matter, especially during such a difficult time in their lives."
The night was hosted by Heather Abraham of KDKA-TV2 and included a fabulous purse drawing featuring 20 designer handbags, the special addition of a limited edition, rare Louis Vuitton collectible purse, a star-studded sports-themed silent auction, a buffet dinner and special VIP cocktail hour including a special VIP purse drawing! The Purse Gala was capped by a heartfelt video describing the Camp Erin experience followed by a piano performance and testimonial from former camper Rachel Chase, who lost her father before attending camp. After Rachel’s performance and speech, a special 5-minute fundraising appeal brought in more than $8,000 to support campers directly.
