But we would probably argue that one of the main reasons for the feelings of warmth that surround Concordia are the volunteers – those selfless, loving people who freely give their time and talents because they believe in our mission of serving others and spreading God’s love. Without their caring touch, attentive eyes, encouraging voices, empathetic ears and compassionate hearts, there would be a void at Concordia that may just be impossible to fill.
So to all of our volunteers – whether you are cooking a meal, folding a towel, holding a hand, stuffing an envelope, taking a photo or any of the other dozens of jobs you do – THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.
April may be National Volunteer Month, but that doesn’t mean we don’t need some helping hands the rest of the year!
