Balance Exercises for Seniors

Every year, many seniors are hospitalized from falls usually due to loss of balance. Loss of balance typically comes from a lack of body strength and energy, which can often be improved by doing simple exercises around the house.

Dr. Nicholas Reiser, director of physical therapy services at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, has over 10 years of experience working with senior patients who have experienced a fall. In this short video, he offers a few exercises for seniors to increase their body strength and help prevent loss of balance.
