The health and well-being of our patients, residents and team members is our number one priority. Despite many of the counties in which we operate beginning to re-open, per the Departments of Health, Concordia is still operating under a no visitation policy, except for patients/residents in end-of-life situations. However, those wishing to see their loved ones can schedule time with them at one of our safe visitation areas. Please call your loved one's facility for more information. For information regarding Concordia’s coronavirus precautions and cases, please click here. We have also began publishing regular video devotions from our Chaplains. Concordia 13th Annual "Dog Days of Summer" Dog Show a Blast

August 20, 2013

Nearly 30 dogs strutted their stuff down the catwalk (couldn't resist!) on Aug. 15, as 200+ residents, staff and community members enjoyed the 13th Annual "Dog Days of Summer" Dog Show at the Concordia at Cabot campus.

The four prize winners, as decided on by a panel of resident judges, were:

Most Friendly: "Tank" and "Buddy"

Best Performers: "Hershey" and "Jazzee"

Most Obedient: "Roscoe"

Best Groomed: "Katie"

Special thanks to everyone who made it out, the dogs/owners, volunteers and our excellent resident judges! Enjoy the pictures below (click a picture to enlarge it) and feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the post!

For many seniors, one major reason for considering a move to a Personal Care community is to be around others who have similar interests and make a new network of friends. All of Concordia's Personal Care locations offer a full schedule of activities for our residents to enjoy, if they choose to do so. For more information on any Concordia events, call Concordia Public Relations at 724.352.1571, ext. 8266 or e-mail us here.
