Concordia Golf Outing Raises Around $75K for Charitable Care

July 10, 2012

Yesterday was the 9th Annual Concordia Lutheran Ministries Golf Outing, which was held at the prestigous Treesdale Golf and Country Club. The event raised around $75,000 for the Good Samaritan Endowment Fund (Concordia's charitable care fund for residents who can't pay for the full cost of care).

Approximately 160 golfers from the area enjoyed a beautiful day of golf, fellowship, food and gifts - all while benefitting others. As Concordia President and CEO Keith Frndak said, "Over 150 people at Concordia will not be able to pay for the cost of the care they need in the next year alone. Thanks to individuals and businesses like you, many of those people will never even know they're receiving assistance."

Below are some pictures from the event; feel free to leave a comment. Special thanks to all those who participated in, contributed, sponsored or helped with the event!
