The health and well-being of our patients, residents and team members is our number one priority. Despite many of the counties in which we operate beginning to re-open, per the Departments of Health, Concordia is still operating under a no visitation policy, except for patients/residents in end-of-life situations. However, those wishing to see their loved ones can schedule time with them at one of our safe visitation areas. Please call your loved one's facility for more information. Concordia's little corner of the blogosphere

December 1, 2010

Welcome to the Concordia Lutheran Ministries Blog! We hope you find the information on this page useful and check back regularly if you're interested in topics related to senior care, health care in general, local and foreign missionary work and, well, Concordia of course.

Concordia, if you're unfamiliar, is a CARF-CCAC accredited Aging Services Network one of the largest, most financially secure senior care providers in the country. Established in the 1880's as a Lutheran home for orphans, we now offer a lifetime continuum of care that includes adult day services, assisted living, home care, hospice, medical and rehabilitation services, memory support, respite care, retirement living, skilled nursing, and medical equipment capabilities.

Our hope for now is to post every Tuesday (starting Dec. 7) before lunch, so by all means visit, give us a read and even comment if you like. If you have a burning question you think we could address, feel free to e-mail us at Your idea could be the next topic of conversation.
