The health and well-being of our patients, residents and team members is our number one priority. Despite many of the counties in which we operate beginning to re-open, per the Departments of Health, Concordia is still operating under a no visitation policy, except for patients/residents in end-of-life situations. However, those wishing to see their loved ones can schedule time with them at one of our safe visitation areas. Please call your loved one's facility for more information. Concordia Residents Take Part in Spin-Off of "The Newlywed Game"

A few months ago, a couple new residents to Concordia's retirement community in Cabot, Bette and Dennis Miller, created "The Marriage Moments," a production that mimicked the once-popular game show, "The Newlywed Game." The game was held on Thursday, May 23 at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Haven II. (Be sure to check out the pictures below!)

Concordia at Sumner "Parade of Homes" Showcases Design Options

This past Sunday, Concordia at Sumner, our Copley, Ohio retirement community, hosted an Open House with a twist. Its annual "Parade of Homes" featured the customary model apartments along with the homes of several of our residents who volunteered to open their homes to the public. Three resident Garden Apartments provided different styles of decorating, displaying a bit of each owner's personality.

Good Samaritan Hospice to Hold Memorial Services and Support Group

Good Samaritan Hospice (GSH), a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will hold two memorial services in memory of those who spent their final days under hospice care at its Wexford facility, Cabot inpatient unit or with Good Samaritan Hospice home care.

Good Samaritan Hospice 5K Attracts More People Than Ever

2012 Concordia Oktoberfest One of the Biggest, Best in History

Apparently, word has gotten out that Concordia's Oktoberfest is a blast - just ask the crazy amount of people who showed up on Saturday, Oct. 6! In the span of four hours that day, around 1200 people (around 300 of whom were kids) walked through the front doors of Concordia's Haven I retirement apartment building in Cabot.

Concordia of the South Hills Fundraiser a Success

A change of venue and theme spelled success for Concordia of the South Hills second annual fall fundraiser, "Book Your Lunch." The 170 in attendance (including two men) had an opportunity to begin their holiday shopping, as nine vendors displayed shoes, boots, handmade jewelry, homemade pretzels, clothes and kitchen items at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bethel Park.
