The health and well-being of our patients, residents and team members is our number one priority. Despite many of the counties in which we operate beginning to re-open, per the Departments of Health, Concordia is still operating under a no visitation policy, except for patients/residents in end-of-life situations. However, those wishing to see their loved ones can schedule time with them at one of our safe visitation areas. Please call your loved one's facility for more information. Good Samaritan Hospice 5K Raises over $16,000

More than 200 runners and walkers enjoyed perfect weather and supported the Good Samaritan Hosipce Charitable Fund at the same time last Saturday morning, October 8. This mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries celebrated its 10th Annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk at North with a record-breaking number of participants.

A Beautiful Weekend for Camp Good SAM

Thirty five kids spent last weekend at Camp Good SAM, a Good Samaritan Hospice-sponsored bereavement camp for children who have lost a loved one. The weekend is much like a "regular" summer camp, filled with activities like swimming, crafts, campfires and the like, but it also lets children ages 6 12 know their grief is normal and helps them face their loss. Thanks to community support, grants, and organizational sponsorships, Camp Good SAM is free.

Biggest Concordia Golf Outing Ever a Huge Success

Yesterday was the Eighth Annual Concordia Golf Outing, which was held this year at Treesdale Golf and Country Club. Since the club has three different nine hole courses, we were able to accommodate even more golfers than usual - which led to a busy, fun-filled day.
