The Gringo Zydeco Band introduced the crowd to Zydeco music – a blend of Cajun music, blues and rhythm and blues – and Dixieband entertained with their instrumental take on southern Dixieland classics.
Rev. Dr. David Paul Stechholz gave the message at the 3 p.m. worship service, talking about his memories of the area and Concordia, having been Pastor at Evangelical Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer and School in nearby Oakmont, PA. He is currently Bishop and President of the LCMS English District.

Six of Concordia’s Alumni (former orphans who lived here when Concordia at Cabot was an orphanage) and their families and friends reminisced over lunch in our Snack Shop, hosted by Haven II resident and former administrator’s wife, Eleanor Schwalm.
