The health and well-being of our patients, residents and team members is our number one priority. Despite many of the counties in which we operate beginning to re-open, per the Departments of Health, Concordia is still operating under a no visitation policy, except for patients/residents in end-of-life situations. However, those wishing to see their loved ones can schedule time with them at one of our safe visitation areas. Please call your loved one's facility for more information. Home Care: Providing Comfort in Uncertain Times

April 14, 2020

In-home care providers serve a population who need assistance with activities of daily living. Examples of these activities include light housekeeping, bathing, dressing and many other daily routines that an individual with a compromised health condition may not be able to easily do on their own. Coincidentally, this population is currently at a higher risk of developing serious complications from COVID-19. So, what does this mean for home care as an industry?

We virtually interviewed Concordia Private Care Manager Ginene Alwine for an in-depth look on how the industry is adapting to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus and how home care services are providing comfort and security to people in uncertain times. Check it out in the video below!
